I believe they were those rubbery Body Glove shades that were so popular at the time.

Sorry Clo all the photos of me in the Navy are on slide and haven't taken them for processing but here are 3 oldies. The 1st is Sandy and I on our wedding day 9/22/1973, the 2nd is me when I recieved my Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Florida in 1986and 3rd Sandy and I on our first recumbent tandem a Kowal KD4 in spring1989. ...no doubt my sister and I were just told it's time to leave the lake/river/pool (wherever we were swimming).

It was nearly impossible to keep us out of any body of water!!

I learned when I was 5? 6? I loved driving my sister around in the wagon!

Oh my, I'm not sure I have the picture of me in a similar satiny dress with pin curls but I will have to look.

The 50's and early 60's had a way with pin curl torture for sure!!!
