MINI Creativity
« on: Tue May 12 '09, 09:13:20 PM »
So I was wondering if there was a sweet thread on Coopernation that would showcase the fact I'm NOT the only nutso one out there.  Evidently there wasn't...or at least no one has stepped forth (yet) to show that they, too, have no real life.

We had a "snow day" off of work and THIS is what IIIIII did!

My neighbor (who knows I'm crazy and is an enabler) made a garage for it!

Annnnd this is what I did at Halloween (freehand I might add!):

Dracul-MINI

and Obey the MINI

Rawr!!!

So!  Does anybody have any cool stuff to add?   :hi

Oh, I don't know about photo contests...I was just goofing around - I just happen to have a MINI bent when I goof I guess!  Aren't the photo contests about the quality of the photo?  Yeah, I'm not so good at those...

Used this "above the sink" photo from my kitchen for my 2007 MINI holiday card
exchange.

It is a Tamiya RC kit, but I had to hunt down some wheels that looked similar, mmodify the body to fit and create a sunroof :)

It is a 'no expense spared' style build too - the standard chassis was binned in favor of an 'R' Chassis, with full ceramic bearings, brushless motor and many aftermarket suspension parts.

Although I never totaled up the build it is probably $600+ in parts

Neat mini MINI Max! I have a 1/10 PROTO-form MCS body that I have yet to paint. When and if I do paint it  will go on a Associated TC-3 chassis with a Novak 10 turn burshless motor.

I won the NAM December: Winter Driving photo contest!  :hs

I think it was because I was the only MINI "driving" and not parked.  :sa

You kind of looked parked there.  :er That one inch of snow must have been a nightmare for you. I am thinking there are a few people here that can beat your winter driving experience. But maybe not your photo - nice pic!

That looks like fun, Kurt.

We may get a little snow today so it will be the first time I have ever driven the MINI in the snow.  I wonder how well summer tires are on the snow.     ;pc
