Join the KC Miniacs for a short drive to a couple of Hot Chocolate spots in KC, ending with a tour of Chips Chocolate Factory at Crown Center on Saturday, March 21st.
We'll meet at 9 a.m. at Krispy Kreme, 8905 Shawnee Mission Parkway (near Baron) for a chocolate donut and coffee to get things started. We'll depart from Krispy Kreme at 9:30, visiting a couple of chocolatiers along the way to our final destination, Chips Chocolate Factory at Crown Center, where we will go on a Chocology tour at 11:30. The tour will last approximately 45 minutes and costs $5, which includes a goodie bag of chocolate to take home. Chocolates will be available for purchase at the stops along the way, bring extra $. The driving tour has been planned with the downtown crowds and parking congestion in mind, Crown Center being the furthest north we will venture.
RSVP with number of people and cars and indicate if you plan to go on the entire crawl or only the tour at Chips. We are limited to 40 people for the Chocology tour at Chips.
Prepayment is required for the tour at Chips. You may either pay me via Paypal ($5.55 for the first, $5.25 for each additional please) or send a check in the mail. No refunds will be given for those unable to attend. Should you need to cancel after paying, your $5 will be added to the club funds. This is necessary so we can give an accurate advance count to the chocolate factory. Once you have RSVP'd, I'll send you a PM with my paypal and/or snail mail info.
