I love that picture!

Yeah, somehow I managed to avoid the cameras, however unintentionally. I had wanted to get a bunch of pics of the car, me, Ryan, etc .. but didn't. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Hey Guys,

Unfortunately i have maybe 3 pics from the whole event.
I tried to avoid the camera, but have found myself in a few of the online galleries on FaceBook and in the Las Vegas Sun Times' article as well.

C'est la vie.

Sorry I wasn't around much, I got caught up in hanging out with the AZ and LV folks mostly...  But I did see a few Nationites around, and it was nice to see y'all

I've got a lot of work to do at the office this week, so i'll be in/out as much as i'm able...

Hey, three pictures is three more then Gladys and I got!!! 
It was great meeting Shannon and Eric, and catching up with all the other familiar faces from the Mini family!

What wasn't so great was not getting to town until after 1am on Fri night and sleeping until after noon on Saturday.
Of course, this just gives us more reason to request some time off work next time for the next AMVIV!!!

I had no idea Blue would be captured on film... what a nice surprise Shannon!

We had an uneventful drive up ('cept for some local boys telling us to "slow it down out there" when I stopped to check the lugs on an overpass between Barstow and Vegas and thanks to the caravan on the way back, I know we avoided at least one speeding ticket, thanks to Mr. CHIP tucked away on the left hand side median.

No records were broken (ok, well maybe a max speed value was set...   :wh ) but we got there and back intact.

I've also been severely chastised for not letting my wife drive HER car...  :na but thankfully we found some goodies to accessorize Blue finally!

You need a radar detector, Joe! I got at least 4 pops on the detector each way and was able to slow down in time to cruise past the CHP at a moderate speed  :cp I HEART HEART HEART my detector!

Did you find those chequered flag door inserts? I put mine in and they look awesome  :po

I also bought an orange 'plug' to fill in the hole after deleting the rear wiper....next little project for me to do!  :bg


BTW: Joe, all of the pics in my mac album link are downloadable so if you want those pics of Blue, just grab 'em!

You know, in some ways I love the rear wiper delete but  -- I actually like to wipe my back window. :)

Nice pics, everyone!!!  Shan, you have a very good eye for composition - really nice shots.  I'm glad everyone made it home safe and sound. :)

 :ch clo  :hg I like to be creative with pics...sometimes it works out and sometimes...notsomuch  :gi But it's fun to play around with. It's just a point and shoot but I am asking for a super duper camera for my birthday  :fc

When you have "the eye" you could use a disposable, and it would still be good. :ny :wi :th
