I am wearing my castle tie with black-on-black French cuff shirt with MINI cufflinks, charcoal gray pants, black belt and shoes, and light gray jacket. Opted for the trenchcoat and wide-brimmed hat because a light mix of rain and snow fell as I sallied forth.

Have a wonderful cruise bamatt.

Meanwhile, Castle Age on Facebook is not working properly on my POS computer in the newsroom and am less than pleased.

I am wearing a green paisley tie, blue shirt, brown pants, belt and shoes, with my tan corduroy jacket with leather patches at the elbows. Opted for the trenchcoat. Perhaps there'll be intrigue, but I doubt it. Too subtle for the newsroom here. Regular backstabbing more its speed.

Enjoy the cruise bamatt. Loved the piratical joke macushla. Did you hear about the comatose ship? Pirates bored it to death.

Normally I am one of the happiest people to see Friday finally arrive...but today brings severely mixed emotions for me...while I am happy we will have some very good friends spending the weekend with us, I am also deeply saddened to say goodbye to a good friend and better person. I am wearing a pink flamingo tie, light blue button-down shirt, brown pants, belt and shoes, with my Camel jacket. Felt good to put on the trenchcoat for the second day in a row.

Will emcee the Troop's Court of Honor tonight, in which the Boy Scouts will receive rank patches and merit badges.

Petanque at lunchtime in Bryant Park. My buddy Gerry from the newsroom and I strolled over yesterday and played, losing a two-on-two match 13-7. I made some horrid throws, and a couple of good ones.

For my birthday today, the boys will take me to see Alice in Wonderland. The Wife got me a cool black mug with a dragon on it (making note of my addiction to Castle Age on FB) and the Daughter sent me an Avengers tee-shirt with the distinctive silhouettes of John Steed and Mrs. Emma Peel.

Yesterday in Bryant Park my newsroom buddy Gerry and I defeated Jacques and Roget 13-10 13-5 in a doubles match. I threw a lot better than on Monday, which isn't saying much since Monday was so horrid. Still, I was delighted with the shots I made, and Gerry made some excellent ones.
