Here he is!

Here are the photos I took this afternoon of our new arrival! For those not already aware, his name is Mugen. I think he was the largest puppy in the litter, but he was also the most laid back. He slept almost the entire drive home and when he was awake, he looked out the window without getting car sick and I'm sure you all know that I absolutely LOVED this! He's very inquisitive and curious and doesn't seem to realize that fingers are attached to people and people don't like them chewed, but he will learn. He was a quick study with the leash, but he doesn't like it. We'll spend some time getting him acclimated to the leash and see what happens from there.

He is now passed out for a nap, afterwards, I expect he will want food.  :bg

Oh.. and yes, we are in love with him already.

Thanks! He is cute... a huge responsibility, but cute.

My friends have this theory about why puppies and babies are cute. You see they do things like.. wrecking our favorite shirts or chewing on our toes while we're standing at the kitchen counter typing a post on one of our favorite boards.  Cute is a trait that has evolved in both species for the sake of their survival.  :ny

Dear God this dog really likes to chew on rugs... *sighs, smiles and wanders off to remove the toddler from trouble... again*
